Description
Petrolatum primer is a tacky adhesive primer for use with petrolatum tape .High melting point petrolatum in hydrocarbon solvent . Petrolatum primer is a semi solid paste for brush application
Mainly used as a primer prior to the application of petrolatum tapes. Petro-Primer will penetrate existing rust, displace moisture, pacify the surface and aid the adhesion of tapes and mastics.
Uses
For long-life corrosion protection, sealing and waterproofing of atmospheric buried and submerged metal surfaces.
The high degree of conformability allows for application over irregular surface profiles including gas utility, sewer, potable water, mining,
and wastewater applications.

Application
Apply a thin coat Petro-Primer. The Paste shall be applied to threads, cavaties, shoulders, pits and other irregularities.
