All of the heat-shrinkable products application was done above ground. It means that the condition for the working were very good to apply and to inspect every surface of the coating. The heating of the surface was uniform. After application of the coating the pipes were buried to the depth of 1.5 m to the top of the pipe. 

The typical value of the commercial mastic heat shrinkable sleeve is about 200 kPa.

Heat Shrink Sleeves with closure patch is designed for corrosion protection on field applied girth-weld joints of buried and exposed steel 

pipelines operating 50°C to 80°C，The inner layer is two-components Epoxy Primer which coated on steel pipe; Intermediate level is 

special hot melt adhesive ;Outer layer is modified radiation crossing linking polyethylene backing.

Heat shrink sleeves with closure patch , open type sleeves are installed before joining the pipe ends by sliding the coat from a free end of 

the pipe onto the area to be coated. It is designed for corrosion protection of flanges, casings, bell and spigot joints and other high profile 

couplings.
