Heat shrinkable Reducer sleeves also called End Cap, it is a heat-shrinkable, end cap for pre-insulated pipes operating up to 90°C (194°F).

Water proof end cap is made from a specially formulated cross-linked polymer and is fully lined with a high performance, mastic adhesive. This combination provides a high quality, reliable system for the sealing protection of pre-insulated pipes.

As one of the requirements for Quality Control of proper shrinking of sleeve, the shrink sleeve backing shall have a built-in permanent change indicator. This shall be in the form of a special pattern on the backing. Prior to shrinking the pattern shall be clearly visible and feelable to the touch. Once the sleeve has been shrunk down properly, the pattern shall disappear, and the sleeve surface shall become completely smooth.

Water-proof Cap are used to protect the insulation foam between the pipe and the outer jacket in insulate pipe sections. 

Waterproof Cap should be used on both pipe ends.
